DeepRewrite is a professional text editing and transformation service operated at deeprewrite.app. References to "we," "us," or "DeepRewrite" in this policy mean the operators of this service.
Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password stored in hashed form. We do not collect your name unless you provide it voluntarily.
Submission text: Text you submit for transformation is processed by our models to generate your output and then deleted from active storage. We do not maintain a retrievable history of your submitted text beyond your current session unless you explicitly save runs to your account history.
Usage data: We collect standard operational logs — request timestamps, word counts, error events, and session identifiers — for service operation and debugging. This data is retained for up to 90 days.
Payment data: Payments are processed through third-party payment processors. We do not store credit card numbers or payment instrument details. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status only.
Account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request account deletion at any time, which triggers deletion of associated personal data within 30 days. Operational logs are retained for 90 days. Anonymized and aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls on our infrastructure. No system is completely secure. We use session cookies to maintain your authenticated state while you use the service. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking. Any analytics are processed on our own infrastructure with privacy-preserving settings.
Our text transformation models are hosted entirely on our own infrastructure. We do not send your content to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any other general-purpose AI provider. Payment processing is handled by our payment processor under their own privacy terms, which we recommend you review.
We will notify registered users by email of material changes to this policy before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Non-material clarifications may be made without notification.
